Boundary Survey

Boundary Survey

Staking lot corners, lot lines or reference monuments thereto

For when you need the physical location of your property marked upon the ground.  This is necessary to build fences and walls in their proper location, or if you are unsure where the demarcation line is between you and an adjoiner.

State Law regulates circumstances where setting of the boundary may trigger the mandate of filling a Record of Survey with the County.  This is typically when the boundary being staked is a portion of a lot that has not been previously recorded or if in retracing the boundary lines a substantial discrepancy is found.  This will often times lead to a substantial increase in the fee for the boundary survey.
